Review: I just saw the premiere gala TIFF and overall I liked the movie. The performance was excellent, with Jude Law playing Dom Hemingway at the helm. The first minutes of the scannána I was wondering what I had gotten, as it really starts with a bang (or beat, maybe between). No feeling that I really know what I was seeing I stayed for a while, since the film is vulgar, violent, funny, and awkward, sometimes at the same time. In the end, I liked it really liked it and it got me encouragement despite a lot of reasons not to. Even aware of the phenomenal performance, and when things get tense moments between the Sun and Dickie very good.
