Users review: I have to say that watching the movie was a total spur of the moment decision on my part and I got into this completely unaware of what I was getting myself into. While watching it, I felt my senses are assaulted, but there was more than what I was able to distinguish visceral. Therein lies the greatness of this film. It makes you think about what the images are thrown at you and why. This is, of course, the youth of our day are sold as the good life: money, drugs, sex and parties. It's the American dream. This film follows four girls despicable acts occur as depravaçãoe which is the main level, watching this can be painful sometimes. But that's the point, and people who walk out of this feeling as if they had stolen from their time or they are disgusted by what they saw missing the point. I'm not an elitist film critic, in any sense of the word, but I know what a shock when I saw the film one.I have to say that this movie is visually stunning (and no, I Not Made , I'm referring to the nudity here, ha-ha). It is a dark, dreamy, neon-nightmare. I give credit to this movie, because it's candy for the eyes. Production wise this film is solid as the direction. You feel like you're in a dream, with its striking use of slow motion, and I think that's the effect they are looking to achieve. In this they succeeded with flying colors - literally. There is also a scene beautifully crafted during his robbery of a restaurant that is characterized by one of the girls for the role of the car to the building, a glimpse of who they are inside. A good piece of cinematography. The cast is great. I really can not say much for dancers as they all have to act well in their respective roles. James Franco, on the other hand really stood out and has excellent performance in what I would say is one of her most difficult roles, because the character itself is so unpleasant and unlike someone who had portrayed. He certainly this movie, and without it, seems to be missing a magic ingredient. Franco again and again proved his worth as one of the great actors of his generation. He obviously knew that movies worth exceeds most of our expectations.It seems the point of this movie is lost in the majority, which is a shame, but I can understand why. On the surface it seems superficial and uninspired piece of shit theater with no reason besides showing us some tits and ass to be. It is much more. I like movies that make me think, even if they are disruptive in time to watch. Well, that's what we like to see, after all. This is what our media, our culture, our idols portrayed as the epitome of what constitutes a good life. We are telling our youth to live fully. Is not that what they do throughout the movie? You did not accept? Not? Is that it? The truth hurts. This is the truth of our youth to follow. Sad, is not it. Maybe I should give it a rating of 1 star. I'm sure that's what the director wants me to do. |
